LIMESS Messtechnik und Software GmbH was founded in 1998 as a spin-off from the University of Karlsruhe and has been developing camera-based measuring systems and software for image analysis ever since.

The focus is on high-precision optical systems for non-contact measurement of deformation and strain, which are used, for example, in material testing and component testing. Our systems measure up to the LIMIT, i.e. until a tensile test specimen fails.
Hundreds of systems are in operation and provide measurement data for the customers' technical progress.
