Strobe-CAM

The allows to visualize Vibrations and Rotations and to record in slow motions, for example on the shaker, on an engine test stand, at inaccessible locations or at miniature objects. The Strobe-CAM is an easy to use and inexpensive Option to high speed cameras and allows also a number of possibilities beyond the visual observation by stroposcopic immumination.

The Strobe-CAM controls precisely the exposure moment related to the periodic process. The used illumination is constant in time. The movement gets frozen due to the short exposure time which is comparable to the illumination duration of a strobe light. The stroboscopic controls is based on the realtime analysis (frequency and phase) of an input signal to the Strobe-CAM trigger module. The origin of the input signals can be a frequency generator or an accelleration sensor.
